Brittany has a passion for all things music related and has been performing professionally as a singer for over eight years and has also recently began performing regularly as a DJ and DJ/Singer.
Since the age of five and with unrelenting dedication, Brittany has developed her skills with vocal, DJ, dance, acting and instrument lessons, and has been consolidating all of these skills to provide audiences with an amazing live performance which has seen Brittany become very popular at many of Melbourne’s prestigious events and venues.
In 2016, Brittany was the Music Director for the daily TV Music Program '1700' on Channel 31, which she hosted in 2015. Brittany also hosted her own weekly radio show called 'PlayON' which showcased Australian talent on 3SER 97.7FM for two years as well as being a regular on-air weekday announcer on JOY 94.9
Brittany completed a Diploma of Screen and Media (TV and Radio) in 2016 and was awarded the Dean's Award for the course. Brittany then went on to study Advanced Radio at RTI Melbourne, graduating at the end of June 2017. Brittany was then chosen to attend the prestigious Southern Cross Austereo Careers Bootcamp and gained employment with Southern Cross Austereo at Hit Gippsland in the Promotions Department.
Brittany’s sound originated from a love of rock music and powerful female vocalists and has developed into a strong pop sound with electronic dance influences. Brittany released her debut EP 'UNDEFEATED’ in late 2015. It was a collection of songs which were mostly written when Brittany was only 16 years old. The songs were based on life experience and focused on self-empowerment and confidence. Wanting to release something a little unexpected Brittany released a sassy dance song ‘Need It’ in March 2017.
Having worked with some of Australia's most well known music producers and songwriters, Brittany has built up an impressive list of music industry contacts showing us that she knows who she is, and that she is here to stay.
Brittany has received a Holt Australia Day Award, a Creative Young Stars Grant and has been mentioned in Federal Parliament in recognition of the contribution she has made to her community.
2018 has already been a huge year with Brittany competing in the National Your Shot DJ Competition, beginning her studies into Health and Fitness and releasing a new single 'adore'
Gaining over 50,000 followers across her social media sites with her unique and powerful vocals Brittany is looking forward to connecting with more people as she moves into the next phase of her career.
